Quick and Easy Washi Tape Vase

I know.  This is so simple that it most definitely does not need instructions.  However, I don't know about you, but I'm Pinterest happy and I love pictures!  So here, add it to your quick and easy diy Pinterest category, because why not?!

Suppies:

Washi tape
Thrifted straight sided glass vase or cup
Scissors

I'd love you tell you where I bought this tape, but I've had it for a while and I don't remember.  I did a quick search and found some here and here.

Just start at the bottom where the straightest edge of the cup starts.

Wrap the tape all the way around until it meets back where it started.

Then start a new strip.

I held the cup in one hand and slowly guided the tape with my other.

I started each strip just above where I started and ended the previous strip.  This way I could put that side facing the wall.  It really doesn't matter though.

There you go. Super quick and easy!

It could be a fun project with the kidos or even be used as wedding decor.

Maybe add a cute chalkboard label? Or a galvanized tag?

You could even put a tea light candle in the bottom!

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy!
