Second Hand Swag

Bed skirt, eyelet lace, ruffles, bedding, fabric

I've had to make quite an effort lately to avoid purchasing anything that is going to be... well, a PROJECT.  My imagination goes crazy and I'll buy something that I don't have time for.  I'd like to blame pinterest but for me its been a problem long before pinterest! That said, I still need my weekly scavenger fix so I thought I'd share what I picked up while thrifting on Monday!

So here's my $12 haul...

I can't pass up ruffles like this, not when I have little girls!  Its just a twin size bed skirt with ruffled eyelet lace and I picked it up super cheap. Adorable right!?  So many possibilities and it can be tossed in a fabric bin until I'm ready to use it!

Lately we've been changing over to white dishes for a more clean and simple look so I've been picking up pieces here and there. I came across this white Pyrex mixing bowl sitting all by its lonesome at $1.99.

I actually walked past this blown melon shaped terrarium/ vase a couple times before I picked it up. Now that its home I'm glad I snagged it.  For now I just set a faux potted grass in it but this puppy will come to better use soon.

I almost missed this one too! For whatever reason, I am really drawn to paw and claw footed items. Surprisingly, this beastie footed tray has some weight to it.  Trays are such a functional decor element and I use them all throughout the house.

Just look at those feet! They are casted, not hollow and its a pretty decent size too.  I may repaint it with a faux patina zinc finish. That old zinc finish that Restoration Hardware does so well.  For now the this finish will be just fine.

So what do you think?
